Essential Tarot

Minimalistic tarot designed "to help the Reader and the Querent to reach a status of clarify, free from anxiety and intimidation, open to the experience of the Reading in the most positive way". While pared down to only a few essential symbols per card, what is shown is clearly modeled after the RWS standard, particularly in the manner in which the pip card symbols are arranged. To distinguish between major and minor arcana cards, two different types of framing mechanisms are employed -- arched for the former, and ogive for the latter. For cards which traditionally include figures facing in a particular direction, star symbols appear in the cards' title borders on the side where the characters' visages are typically focused (again, using the RWS standard).
