Blue Sage - Cleansing of negativity or exorcism.

Pinyon (pine) - Attract positive energy & white light energy.

Light smudge stick or loose leaves, wait a moment, then blow out flames. Fan embers lightly to keep smouldering (may need to be re-lit). Use the smoke to "wash" a persons property or space. Use a shell or bowl to catch the ash.
