Anxiety affects many of us, with the stresses of day to day life things can easily build up and cause us excess worry leading to an anxious state of being. This over time can cause anxiety to build up and manifest in many other ways. We have compiled a few things we think can help with anxiety but please also note that there are places which you can seek professional support at the bottom.
HERBS
Relax with some herbal tea or warm bath.
Lavender-Lavender is a herb that has been proven effective as a natural remedy for treating signs of anxiety. It has many great benefits, Lavender can help not only with anxiety but also restlessness, nervousness, insomnia, migraines, joint pain and much more.  Sleeplessness and anxiety can often be calmed with lavender tea. Use 2 teaspoons of dried Lavender per person, per cup of boiling water.
Passionflower- PassionFlower is a great herb for anxiety and it can also be used to induce a good night's sleep. passionflower is a Great herb that can be used in a bath to help relieve muscle spasms and calm the mind and body.
Drink Passionflower tea to help with anxiety, use 1-2 teaspoons of dried Passionflower herb, suggested daily for better effect.
Chamomile- Chamomile tea is known as the “sleep tea” helping promote relaxation and reducing stress. Chamomile is great to use in a warm bath for calming effect. For tea use 2 teaspoons of dried herb per person, per cup of boiling water. You can also use Chamomile tea bags to help with blue rings under your eyes by placing over the eyes for 15 minutes, you could double up and meditate at the same time ;) .
ESSENTIAL OILS
Use oils for more relaxed, calm feeling.
Rose oil – Rose oil is very helpful with depression and anxiety. It boosts self-esteem, confidence, and mental strength while efficiently fighting depression. It can also help with headaches, menopausal symptoms, menstrual cramps and migraines. In addition, Rose essential oil is said to enhance libido, reduce stress, stimulate circulation, sharpen memory, and boost mood.
Rose essential oil also can be inhaled after sprinkling a few drops of the oil onto a cloth or tissue, or pop 3 to 4 drops of the oil in a bath or by using an aromatherapy diffuser or vaporizer.
Vetiver oil- It has a strong initial aroma, and is described as woody, smoky, earthy, herbaceous and spicy. One of the most valued qualities of Vetiver oil is that it is deeply grounding and often used to help promote sleep. It helps with anger, anxiety, restlessness, and nervousness. Vetiver oil is useful for helping relieve physical and mental exhaustion. It can also be used in massage for general aches and to aid with insomnia. Use Vetiver oil in an aromatherapy diffuser or place few drops in a bath.
Ylang Ylang oil- The scent has the ability to positively impact emotions and can help create a calming, relaxing atmosphere in your home. Great for anxiety, it has also positive effect on immune health, blood flow and emotions, making it a natural remedy for the endocrine, cardiovascular, reproductive and digestive systems. Use Ylang Ylang oil in an aromatherapy diffuser or place few drops in a bath for more relaxed feeling.
 
Mix few drops of the essential oils with carrier oil before applying on the skin, do not place them directly on the skin, can cause irritation. 
 
CRYSTALS
Carry your crystals to reduce anxiety.
Sodalite- An excellent stone for the mind. Sodalite eliminates mental confusion and intellectual bondage. As it calms the mind, it allows new information to be received. If you've been feeling anxious in any way, carry Sodalite in your purse or pocket. it holds a comforting energy that is helpful in preventing us from becoming overly wound up and emotional.
Kyanite- this stone is great for mediation. As Kyanite doesn’t hold any negativity, it never needs cleansing. It can also encourage overcoming fears and blockages. Kyanite slices through confusion and dispels illusion, anger, frustration and helps stimulates the higher mind. It is a natural pain reliever. it lowers blood pressure and heals infections. Suggested to wear it as a pendant for better effect, or carry it in your pocket.
Howlite- Howlite is an extremely calming stone. Placed under the pillow it can help with insomnia. Howlite teaches patience and helps to eliminate rage and uncontrolled anger. A piece in the pocket absorbs your own anger and any that is directed toward you. It can also help to overcome selfishness, strengthening positive character traits. Suggested to hold I during meditation.
 
MEDITATION
Meditation is great way how to deal with anxiety. It calms the mind, inclines a person towards spiritual enlightenment and reduces stress. the benefits of meditation are Well known about these days and there are many easy ways to learn to meditate, from local classes or online apps and videos. It has never been easier to access.
Meditation can be practiced in different positions based on the body structure of an individual as everyone has a unique body structure.
To meditate you sit comfortably and quietly with your eyes closed and effortlessly and silently inside repeat a word or a short phrase called a mantra. Take long deep breaths in and out, calm your breathing and your mind. Your mantra can be any word, sound, prayer or short phrase you like. During meditation it is important that you not TRY to meditate or make anything happen. Instead you must always relax into effortlessness and let the mantra come in the same simple, effortless way as thoughts come. Try to retain focus on your mantra and breath, relax.
 
MEDITATION CUSHIONS
Meditation cushion reduces the pressure on knees and ankles during sitting posture meditation, which is placed under the basic meditation cushion known as Zafu to help the proper alignment of the body. Kneeling cushion is used to reduce the discomfort in hip joints. Basic meditation cushion is round cushion, which can be used to practice meditation in sitting position. It mainly influences the meditation posture, alignment and comfort. There are different types of cushions in different shapes available to support and ease the posture according to the criteria of everyone.
HIMALAYAN SALT LAMPS
There is so many benefits from Himalayan Salt Lamp, they give calm, relaxed feeling that can help with anxiety. Salt Lamps heating can boost blood flow, improve sleep, increase levels of serotonin in the brain, and calm allergy or asthma symptoms. They are also lovely home décor. You can get Himalayan Salt Lamp and little tea light holders.
CRYSTAL MEDITATION BEADS
mala beads are great aids in meditation, they help you move through meditation repeating your mantras.
Hold your mala in your right hand, draped between your middle and index fingers. Starting at the guru bead, use your thumb to count each smaller bead, pulling it toward you as you recite your mantra. Do this 108 times, travelling around the mala, until you once again reach the guru bead.
EXCERCISE
When stress affects the brain, with its many nerve connections, the rest of the body feels the impact as well. Or, if your body feels better, so does your mind. Best way to help with your anxiety is to go for long walks. Fresh air and clear head can make you more relaxed. There are many different exercises that can help with anxiety, for example swimming, biking, running, walking, playing tennis or even dancing. Try and build it up daily, your energy will build and when you exerceise endorphins will be released making you feel more positive and relaxed.
